POLAROID 800
Polaroid came in the mail this week… it was originally for a “friend” but i guess that changed. so i think im going to convert it to shoot medium format roll film. ive been reading articles on the conversion. seems strait forward. unless of course that “friend” calls and claims it… you know who you are. stop acting weird ! and treat me like you want to be treated. and remember… “im just a man , trying to do the best that i can with what it is i have!”

THE GIVING TREE by Shel Silverstein
Yesterday i went out and bout this beautiful hard covered 35th anniversary edition of the giving tree. My mother would read this to me at bed time. like many kids this story hold a very special place in my heart. It is still one of my favorite books. Some see it as a sad story of a boy that kept taking… i see is it as … the tree was of maximum service.

Ive been planning on getting this tattoo for some time now … tomorrow is my 11 year sober anniversary, and as a gift to myself i got the giving tree stump on the inside of my right arm. its to remind me what its all about. Love and Service.

last night was spent drinking fancy ginger beers, and playing high energy, extremely intense, competitive, Jenga! the night was exciting… margarita showing up and surprising me was nice , nick almost got into a fight with one drunk Balthazar Getty , and Adam Tomei engaging with pirate looking guy that almost turned into the highlight of the day! (always got your back) but all in all … it was great night!
Last night i went out dancing… i forgot the magic that happens when you get down on the dance floor by your self and just dont give a fuck! I got lost in the music (provided by LOUISAHHH and Juan Mclean) for two hours, and when i emerged i was drenched with sweat and felt so alive! how does one forget about the simple pleasure in life, when distracted by life!
cant wait to do it again…
